FML! Worst Experience Ever. Gaga!?

FML! I am obsessed with Gaga, she is all I listen to. Yesterday, I went to Radio City Hall to see her in concert and a friend of mine had bought a ticket for me. So, we are on line ready to present our tickets, and one of the tickets, the one he handed me, was for Jan 20th, the day before. I wanted to break down. The guy already had his ticket scanned and couldn't come back out. I was so desperate, I went to the first Drunkard I saw and asked for a Scalped ticket. He wanted 220 dollars. We walked to me to ATM, took out the 20 dollars I needed to make 220. I go back to Radio City and make the line, and the ticket turns out to be fake! FML, what did I do to deserve this? Why did this happen to me? All I wanted, all I asked for, was see Gaga. As I type these words, I have tears in my eyes. I had hyped up to see her for almost 2 months, she is such an inspiration. She has given me the courage to accept my uality, who I am. I traveled from Jersey to go see her; it was the worst experience of my life. =(

The director did not make understudies but I was kind of designated Aunt Eller's understudy once Aunt Eller started missing a lot of practices due to sickness and marching band. It's now 3 weeks before show and she has two nodules on her throat and she was put on vocal rest (for a period of 2 weeks) one week ago. She now has the stomach flu too. She hasn't been in school now for 4 days consecutively and I'm starting o think I should memorize her lines. I don't want her to think that I want her to stay sick or not be in the show after all she's a senior and I am a sopre. I am happy she got a more main role than I. Okay, so I'm a Florida resident and I really don't understand why everybody is so obsessed with UF. Frankly, I've never noticed anything that special about it. The administrators seem pompous and out of touch. (For example, somebody from the Orlando Sentinel got a hold of a college ranking survey the UF president filled out, and he ranked UF above Dartmouth, Brown, Cornell, and other schools that are obviously more prestigious academically than UF). The only draw I see is that the football program is so successful. So, pretty much, why is everyone so eager to be a part of "Gator Nation"?

Frozen car-door lock problem?

Kay soo... Tonight, I went to get into my car, and the key wouldn't turn all the way into the "unlock" position. I figured it was just a frozen lock, so I went inside and grabbed one of those small screwdrivers for eyegles, heated it up with a torch lighter, and pushed it into the keyhole. I heard a sizzling noise, figured it worked, and tried opening the lock again with my key. No luck. Eventually, I became impatient and started heating up the key itself and started trying to open the lock. STILL no luck. I went to the penger door, skipped the screwdriver part, and only used the key. I took the lighter to the lock itself and set it up there for a few seconds. Then, I light the key for a few seconds and turned it in the lock. It worked. I opened the driver door from the inside and went around and got in. I played around with the "lock and unlock" switch, and noticed that the thing wasn't going back and forth like it's supposed to (I drive a '91 Grand Marquis, if that helps anyone wondering what the "thing" is). I hit the lock on like 23456234 times, shut the door, and tried opening the door. It didn't open, but my key still wouldn't work in the lock. I handled that lock the exact same way I originally did to the lock on the penger side. STILL no luck. Did I go about de-icing my lock the wrong way? If so, how should I have done it? Is it possible that I caused mechanical damage to the lock? If so, is that an expensive fix? A homemade solution to a frozen lock with a high success rate would be terrific. Please and thank you.

The other week I was sick with a tummy bug and had uncontrollable vomiting for about 5 days. I told my bf we had to use a condom, but we got carrie away at one point and he came inside me. Any way to fix my iMac?

So a while ago I installed Windows 7 to a hand-me-down iMac I got from my aunt, and everything was fine for about a month and a half. Then I tried to switch to the Mac side one day, and it froze at the apple boot screen. I tried everything to fix it, but it didn't work. Then I tried wiping out the Mac drive, and using an install disk. However, it's 10.6, and from what I've seen I'd need 10.5 for mine, and so Snow Leopard "can't be installed" on this iMac. I have a Mac OSX .dmg file on my windows drive, is there anyway I can install it from there? Or am I out of luck without burning it to a DLDVD, or finding the original install disk?

As long as you still feed him sometimes your milk supply will stay. I have a 7 month old and when he was a newborn he always seemed hungry and I resisted giving him formula because the doctors tell you the exclusively feed until 6 months. I would have been a better mother during that time if I would have because I was up every two hours until he was six months old. I am 23yrs,72 kg,174cm.I used to jog 5KM in park everyday,bt suddenly 1 day in morning i got pain in right leg below knee.doctor said it's cramp,gave cream,bt no relief.Then i undergone ultrasound for DVT,bt everything came normal,doctor said there myt be muscle pull and gave medicines.Bt it's been 8 months bt pain is not going and when i walk for 2 Km continously my right leg starts tiring,little bit heavy and painful also.Please help soon.I am worried

Should I cut down on her milk feeds?

My little one will be a year old on July 15 and is still not eating very well. She has a 200ml (7 fl oz) when she wakens around 6.30am, a bottle at 10am (180ml/6.5 fl oz), lunch at 12pm (pureed food and a yoghurt) at 1.30pm she has another 200ml bottle then at 4pm she has another bottle (about 150ml) and then her dinner at 5.30 (again pureed food with fromage frais or fruit) and then a 200ml bottle before bed at 7.30pm. I try to give her breakfast of baby cereal, weetabix or ready brek (contacted the makers to ask if it was okay for a baby and it is) but she won't always take it, at 10am I try to give her fruit but again, she won't always take any, she has her lunch okay but not very much and dinner time isn't really a problem. She won't eat textured foods, only purees (she has three bottom teeth and four top teeth) but I feel she's not eating enough for her age. My 2 year old was on table foods at the same stage and was still feeding (my 11 month old stopped wanting the at 10.5 months). Should I cut down on her milk intake to see if she eats more solids. i've tried her with finger foods too but she just puts them in her mouth then spits it out again, she will eat bread/toast though. Any help would be appreciated, this is all new to me!

Hi! I am just finishing feeding...my son will be 1 yr old, and we are now debating cow's milk, rice milk, and soy. My daughter did soy fortified with the DHA and Omega. She was very sensitive to cow's milk, as was I as a baby. I am nervous about cow's milk in general, especially with all the autism controversy. Fallen Daughter. Any Thoughts?

I love the idea that you began the poem with a question. The "borrowed words" lend strength to the poem and the idea of "fallen daughter," like the "fallen angel," gives the poem a host of references and enhances the emotion expressed by the poet and felt by the reader. Finally, the juxtaposition of the fallen in the beginning with "haven" at the end, sums up the horrific comparison of, if I may borrow a title, "Paradise Lost." Congratulations on a wonderful poem.

a landlord caunt refuse dss! Get it paid directly to gin then he has nothing to fear! Also they pay in areas which can be a problem as most landlords like rent up front! When i did it i paid my landlord the first month then when the dss paid him at da end of the month it was for the beging of da next month if dat makes sense so i paid my landlord on da 1st of october then the dss paid him 30th of october so that payment was 1st of november so he gets his rent in advance and the dss think he gets it in arears! Hi i love playin me some blackops but i always have a hovering 2-3 bar connection. I get host on rare occasions maybe 1 out of 20 games. i have set a static ip for the ps3 and made it the dmz host on my router. i have done everything recommended for better connection but still nothing really ever changes. Is my kitten a Maine Coon?

I know that rescued kittens are often not pure bred, but I'm not so sure about mine. She was taken away from her owner after she was attacked by dogs and her injuries weren't being cared for. She ended up at a rescue and we adopted her at six months after three surgeries. She has long hair with the small mane around her neck, very long tufts of fur coming out of her ears, long fur on the bottom of her paws, a long bushy tail, a trilly high pitched meow that betrays her size, she is large for her age, she knows how to play fetch, begs for food, an "m" on her forehead, wide spaced ears, a long body that she loves to d across our laps... every thing I've read online about Maine Coons seems to match. But obviously we can't contact the old owner as he's probably not happy about having his kitten confied. Any experts out there want to weight in?

Honestly the only way I can even consider this idea is to look at five year olds.. They are old enough to be self aware and curious, and old enough to adequately articulate most of their thoughts, but are still young enough that they haven't been too influenced by being forced to conform to any strict societal mores or rules. Even if a child has been raised secluded from the rest of the world, it is generally a five year old's nature to ask questions and if asked, form independent ideas. After that, their minds, our minds, begin to be molded by nurturing, teaching, disciplines, etc. I really think a clroom of kindergarteners would give you a better answer to this than most of the higher minds of history.

OK, so i thought i wanted to go to black hair, im a natural blonde. but ive bleached it lighter. But i wanted something diff. so i went to black. But now im not likin it as much as i thought, how do i get it back to blonde. Its already stripping down to brown and i havent touched it.
