Has anyone on here realised what signing the Lisbon Treaty really means yet?

Well, yes. A lot of people did realize, which was why they demanded a referendum, but the UK government (I'm presuming that you're British/English) refused to allow the people to vote on it. They signed it regardless of what the people realized because they are a right wing semi-dictatorial government. It's what they do.
