Anyone know of any educational online games?

I have a 2nd grader who just got a computer given to him from our good friend. I was just wondering if anyone knows of any educational websites that are free for a 2nd grader? I know one is www.starfall.com! But I think it is only for Kindergartners! He needs help in "Language". Thanks a lot!
