Would a decoy be a good solution to the Somalian Pirate problem?

We could put Marines on board what would like like a good ship for pirates to raid and when pirates start firing on the ship, the Marines could throw a grenade in the pirate's cute little motor boat thus blowing them away. Would this be a good idea? After all, they obviously have no regard for human life so why should we have any for them?
